Liebster Blog Award

I have been lucky enough to receive the Liebster Blog Award from the lovely talented Liz at Craftyliz's Creations who has given my blog this recognition!  I'm flattered to have received this award as it is good to know that other fellow crafters enjoy my creations!

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has chosen to follow my blog and also to those who leave encouraging comments on my posts.  They are all really appreciated.

1. I have four cream Burmese pussycats who are extremely spoilt.
2. I enjoy most crafts, including knitting, crochet, cross stitch, as well as card making.

5. I am very organised and like to have a place for everything and everything in its place!
6. I am blessed with three sons and one daughter. 
7. I am also blessed with two gorgeous grandsons and have another grandchild due in July this year.

Tilda with Flowers

Hello again, this is my second post this week! I coloured up Magnolia Tilda with Flowers using my Copics and Prismacolors, I've gone with pastels for a soft look, using pinks and greens again, I did say it's one of my favourite colour combinations. I stitched all around the edges and added ribbon, flowers and sparkly gems. I hope you like it.

I've gone for a different layout with this card and in keeping with my 'no shopping' (for now) policy, everything I've used is from my stash. I must use what I already have and not what I think I need for my next project!!

The problem is that I have so much stuff stashed away that I forget what I've got and therefore it doesn't get used! I'm pleased with the end result of this card.

Spoil Me!

Hello again, for today's card I have used a LOTV stamp 'Positively Pampered', I love this cute and girly image and have used pinks and greens (one of my favourite colour combinations) Copics together with Prisma Color pencils for added definition.

I added lots of sparkle to her wings and perfume bottle! and went to town with my embellies, I even sewed around the edges and added a pretty hat pin as well as a corner cut from my ek corner punch. Finally I glittered up some flowers and die cut some Magnolia leaves. The sentiment is from the Delish Crown Princess stamp set. By using a general sentiment, I can use this card for most occasions.

I'm really pleased with the way this card has turned out. I've just noticed that I took the close up photo before I had added my pearls!!
